Laboratory
Paris Regional Medical Center Laboratory is a full service facility located at two separate campus laboratories.
Equipped with the latest technology and computerization, the clinical laboratory provides a broad spectrum of testing. Stressing quality as well as rapid turn-around of test results, the laboratory provides services in all the major clinical laboratory disciplines, including hematology, chemistry, immunology, microbiology, and point-of-care testing. Additionally, a full service transfusion service / blood bank is maintained to meet the needs of the hospital’s active cardiac and surgical units.
Outpatient and day surgery laboratory services are provided at the North Campus laboratory site. The South Campus laboratory provides Microbiology service for all the acute care departments.
Laboratory services are fully accredited by the College of American Pathologists and is Medicare/Medicaid approved.
