Keeping Your Medical Imaging Exam History
It is a good idea to keep track of your medical imaging exams just as you do for your immunizations. Tracking the number and type of scans can be helpful to families and providers. This is important when medical care is provided by a variety of physicians.
You can download an imaging record card that will help you avoid repetitive exams and aid doctors in making informed decisions about the scans they recommend for you. Download the card at: www.bit.ly/ImageCard
